About the role
As a Senior AI Consultant at ProActys, you serve as the primary trusted advisor for C-level stakeholders navigating their AI transformation. You combine deep technical fluency with business acumen to design AI strategies that deliver tangible, measurable value — not just prototypes that never leave the lab.
You work across sectors (financial services, pharma, manufacturing, public sector) and across the full engagement lifecycle: opportunity assessment, use-case prioritisation, solution architecture, vendor evaluation, implementation oversight, and post-launch performance tracking.
Key responsibilities
Lead AI strategy workshops and maturity assessments for enterprise clients, translating complex technical possibilities into actionable business roadmaps
Design and oversee end-to-end AI project delivery — from data readiness audits to model deployment and change management
Conduct use-case discovery sessions, build business cases with ROI modelling, and present recommendations to executive committees
Architect AI solutions leveraging LLMs, computer vision, NLP, and predictive analytics, selecting the right tool for each business problem
Manage relationships with technology partners (cloud providers, AI platform vendors) and coordinate multi-stakeholder project teams
Mentor junior specialists and contribute to ProActys thought leadership through Insights articles, conference talks, and internal knowledge-sharing
Ensure all AI implementations comply with the EU AI Act, Swiss data protection regulations, and ethical AI principles
Your profile
Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
5+ years of experience in AI/ML consulting, data science, or AI product development — at least 2 years in a client-facing advisory role
Proven track record of delivering AI projects from strategy through to production in enterprise settings
Strong understanding of ML/DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and MLOps best practices
Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for non-technical executives and board members
Fluent in English; German and/or French is a strong plus
Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship
Nice to have
Experience with LLM-based applications (RAG architectures, fine-tuning, prompt engineering at scale)
Knowledge of AI governance frameworks (ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF) and the EU AI Act classification system
Familiarity with regulated industries (banking, insurance, pharma) and their specific compliance requirements
Prior experience in a Big Four or boutique consulting firm
Certifications such as AWS ML Specialty, Azure AI Engineer, or Google Cloud Professional ML Engineer
What we offer

Real impact — work directly with decision-makers on projects that change how organisations operate
Continuous learning — annual training budget, conference attendance, and internal AI lab time
